WineFrog explains Bright
Wines described as bright are more acidic and have a more watery consistency in the mouth (mouthfeel) when consumed. Bright wine in a glass appears perfectly clear, and it has a very low level of suspended solids. Due to the vivid appearance of bright wines, more light is refracted, which makes the wine look fresh. Also, the aggressive levels of acidity and low fruit content give an extreme lively flavor to the bright wine.
